We are insanely excited to share the first Beta release of the Ranked Feed. Ranked Feeds allow you to take control over how your feeds are sorted and move past the simple chronological view. Ranked feeds can help improve engagement with the feed.

Ranking feeds

You can use a decay_gauss, decay_exp or decay_linear to discount older items.

A few example use cases:

  • Show featured activities higher in the feed.
  • Show popular or activities with many comments higher in the feed.
  • Show promoted activities higher in the feed.

Note that ranked feeds are currently only available on paid plans and can only be enabled for flat feeds.
As always, we’d love to hear from you. This is a Beta release, to use this feature email support to enable it for your account. Please share your feedback and email support at
