# ChannelPreviewPinnedStatus

Renders a channel pinned indicator inside [`ChannelList`](https://getstream.io/chat/docs/sdk/react-native/v9/core-components/channel-list/). This is the default component for the [`ChannelPreviewPinnedStatus`](https://getstream.io/chat/docs/sdk/react-native/v9/core-components/channel-list/#ui-component-overrides) override.

## Best Practices

- Keep the pinned indicator subtle to avoid cluttering list rows.
- Ensure pinned state is derived from the channel’s current membership.
- Provide accessible labels or hints for icon-only indicators.
- Use consistent iconography across channel previews.
- Hide the indicator entirely when `pinned` in the [`ChannelPreviewView`](https://getstream.io/chat/docs/sdk/react-native/v9/ui-components/channel-preview-view/) is false.
